TV broadcasters have recently been showcasing the talents of people with Down’s syndrome.

Shows like the BBCs Line of Duty with Tommy Jessop and HBOs Kassie Mundhenk in the Mare of Easttown are paving the way for actors with Down’s syndrome to shine.

The BBC recently showed the biggest breakthrough for those actors with Down’s syndrome, and that was the film The Peanut Butter Falcon starring Zack Gottsagen.

I saw that film, it was great. I just hope people with Down’s syndrome aren't really treated like that in the US, putting him in a care facility not suited to his needs. Clearly, he could have been taught to live independently

Good point in the article that differently able is a better term than the word ‘disability’. Good to read about so many examples of differently able people.
